No idea if he was ever interested in the Town job.......but no surprise..........Phil Brown named Swindon boss until the end of the season.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Surely that puts to bed the myth that one of the reasons Phil Brown 'turned us down' was because he wanted a longer-term deal than we were willing to offer!

Proved Sol wrong.

People of colour (albeit orange) can get jobs in the football league.

Agree, it would of been like appointing an orange Slade, not what we needed.

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

But you will also note that Phil Brown never captained England either. Perhaps big Sol has a point 🤔

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

I also see that Mark Hughes is in the running for Southampton, the good old managerial merry go round continues, wonder where Slade will pop up next?

Probably some Miners Welfare team in South Yorkshire. Maybe he will then poach some of the dross he brought here.
