Jokes aside they said they had to bin loads of stock the other day as the H&S brigade won’t allow it to be sold. I also saw Andrew Fox with (I think) Ian Fleming so I’ll assume he’s signed.

Have they got any water damaged footballs ?

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Clever one

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Very good but on a serious note, does anyone know if the damaged stock is going to be sold at discount price. Seems daft to throw it all away when I'm sure that there is youngsters especially that would buy some of the clothing if it just needs washing.

I think you've missed the point here Rick, it's already been washed.

Just pure guesswork on my account. But I would guess some sort of insurance claim will be involved.  Far easier to just write the stock off and re-claim accordingly.
I realise it seems a waste and could have got this totally wrong.  But I can't think of any other reason why they wouldn't sell it on ??

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

It might not be the case but we used to have a shop and the old man in the flat above, left his bath running and it flooded our shop. The insurance company paid out, but didn't want the damaged stock, so we sold it off cheap and made a bit of money.

Was Dixon working in there at the time?
Can we put an insurance quote in on him!
