So much still to play for...
We are in the worse form the last 10 games, but we have just had a big change, and hopefully that gets us the 3-4 wins we need from the last 10 games.

I'm putting it out there, we stay up.

Barnet and port vale to go down.

Still Barnet/Chesterfield for me. They still need to prove some consistency, just the odd falter here or there and they fall back, *presuming* we start to pick up points. Port Vale are the dark horse for collapsing into a relegation heap I agree, but not convinced that Ch'field are ready to take advantage of their plight.

That's the sickening truth, Town are the central catalyst behind all that will happen, along with Vale. Barnet/Chesterfield and the others below us are basing their survival around us. Just as they lose spirit and it looks doomed we lose again and they gain some confidence.
Not to simplify things but that one win could remind us of our old winning ways, a whole change in mindset is required with this team as much as anything.
With winning ways back in our heads we can hope that Barnet beat Vale in their re-arranged fixture and we keep our heads above water, though it won't be comfortable viewing.

This.

We need that winning feeling back. That 1 win could be massive.

Similar to Hearn first season here, didn't score in his first 11? Or so games, once he did there was no stopping him

The Port Vale game is huge. Lose and we don't get any momentum that we might have done from a new manager. Plus we'd give them a huge confidence boost  and have lost the three points to them. But if we win, we knock their confidence, regain some of our own and give ourselves a bit more of a cushion. I don't envy Jolley, what an absolute baptism of fire for your first ever game as a manager in England.

We need to do our bit, we need to turn up and get right behind the players. I remember the Gillingham manager in the Newell season saying that the crowd had made a difference and it can again.

We need a 6 point Saturday. Last week, we lost and all the others won. We need a Saturday where they lose and we win. It could happen in the next round of games and if it does, we will all feel a lot better. Not very confident, but you never know.

Agree with this the Port Vale, Chesterfield and Barnet games are key, but Stevenage is winnable too. If we can take something from away trips from Lincoln and Coventry that would be a massive boost.

To win games you need to score more goals than the opposition.....something we havnt done in 15 games....something we havn't done since Dec 9th 2017.

In the period since then we have failed to score in 10 games and have managed just a single goal in the other 5 games.

Quite obvious where the problem is. We arent scoring goals.

Two ways to approach this, we either suddenly become more ruthless in front of goal.........not sure the strikers we have available have that in their locker to be honest......or we give the strikers we have so many chances to score that even they will eventually score.

The midfield has long proved inept at providing decent and regular service, so have the widemen in all honesty.  Cant see that changing with the personnel on offer either.  So whats left ?

Press high keep the ball in the opposition third as much as possible giving us a better sight of goal when we get it back and decent numbers to work an opportunity ?

Relentless high balls into the box to 3 dedicated front men and hope something eventually falls ?
