Don't know what we do in training every week because I've never seen a town team with less of a game plan. We're an absolute dream to play against no wonder Carlisle were so desperate for the game to go ahead. For a team with some experienced pros we're far too soft.

We've got 2 centre backs with no pace so once we get turned like we did for the first goal it's impossible for them to recover. We've got 2 defensive midfielders playing centre mid so there's a massive gap between midfield and strikers meaning we don't win any second balls. We've got two strikers whose movement is at best naive and at worst fuck1ng lazy. These 3 pairings that form the spine of our team contain very similar players so there's isn't one who can cover the others deficiencies.

Their first goal looked offside but our defense was even slower than the linesman so it might well have been on. The second goal shouldn't have stood from my viewpoint especially as the ref gave a foul against their keeper minutes before. None of that helps but it doesn't hide the deficiencies our the team.

That's now 3 games with Wilkinson in charge and 9 points dropped. We may as well have kept Slade in charge for all the difference he's made. The first choice 11 was completely negative and Vernam and Hall-Johnson made a strong case when they came on for why they should have started. PW has had a chance to change something that hasn't worked for a long time as hasn't been good enough to do it. I don't understand why we've been so keen to keep him as Dave Moore certainly couldn't have done any worse. If he's such a good coach why have none of our players improved since joining us?

Hopefully Jolley can get us organised enough to pick up a few wins but there's no doubt we're in a relegation battle. Any extra man in midfield is needed as we can't compete at all in the middle of the park. We also need to be a lot braver in possession and the movement off the ball needs to be loads better.

MOM - Macca for the penalty save, for what looked like a great save when he tipped Devitt's shot onto the bar, for a great save in the lead up to their first goal and for dealing well with backpasses from teamates who didn't have the b0llocks to try and make a forward pass themselves.
