Another man "in the know".

If we won the next two games I would be happy with Wilko to the end of the season, provided he was effectively given his notice period! But the chances of us winning the next two games seems very slim.

You are more likely to be "in the know" than most!

But pray tell, O wise one,   what is the difference between Wilkie losing the next two games and a new manager losing the next two games? Presumably the two games are just as tricky for the team no matter who is in charge.

Not at all.  The matches are potentially tricky.  But the level of trickyness (did I invent a word) would depend on our players picked and the formation played.

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Id bet a dollar to a pinch of sh*t if Wilko won the next 3 games some fans would still not be happy because he was slades number 2.

I really do hope he does well and id be happy for Wilko till the end of the season.  Picking players and formations might stop with the manager....but there is onething you cant blame Wilko for or any manager (well i dont anyway) is its the decisions of the players and the desire to want to win that wins games.  Ive seen some good players have a great season then the following season a completely different player making bad decisions after bad.  But Its up to the manager to drop the player and give someone else the shirt.

If you asked yourself 1 question

When going to BP what would class as being acceptable performance wise?

Hard work...rolled up sleeves stuff but struggling to win?
Attractive buckleyesque football but struggling to win?
Sladeball style football but winning games?

The reason why i ask this is because ive heard many fans say i dont mind town losing as long as they show bobby cumming style commitment.

Just curious.

If Wilko wins games and we saw a sea change in style etc of course fans would back him.The fact is due to last weeks team selection and result they have no faith in him getting it right and he is tarred with the slade brush.

Don't get this last weeks team selection stick to beat Wilko with tbh

The issue is we have a big squad but very limited resources because it is woefully unbalanced.

Wilko went with a back 3, when previously we had a 4, restored McKeown, Hall-Johnson etc. There aren't that many changes he could have made unless you buy in to Clifton being the local Messi

No I don`t think Clifton is the local Messi but yes I thought he would have been picked last week if fit same as I do this week because clearly we have a problem in CM and it`s been there a while. Is Clifton or even Mccallister the solution well I don`t know ?What I do know quite clearly Berrett isn`t the answer though I credit him with giving his all same as Summerfield can`t fault them for effort. We should be giving the youngsters a go Clifton,Cardwell and the kid from Villa would all start for me tomorrow.

I don't give a excrement how we play because at the end of the day the main thing anyone looks at is the result.

Mourinho for example plays like a boring illegitimate % football game. When he retires people will remember him for what he won not how he played.

I think we only need 3 wins to stay up this season and I don't care how it's done I just want it flipping done. We could play the most awful smeggiest disgusting hoofball shitball sladeball diamonddallaspageball ever. I wouldn't give a flipping excrement as long as at the end of the season we stay in this flipping excrement league rather than an even greater flipping excrement league.

Don't care who does it either. Could be Wilko could be Jesus., don't give one flying toss as long as it happens.
