We were told there would be an announcement today. Nobody said it would be to announce a new manager

I reckon they had a 1pm press conference lined up and Brown has thrown a massive spanner in the works by declining.

Phil Brown had a change of heart last minute not to take the job was offered the post yesterday. Club was hoping to announce him new gtfc manager today.
