Whoever the new manager may be, they will have my full support until they give me reason not to give it.
Whoever we get, it will please some, and disappoint others.  That's the nature of the beast.
I wasn't going to go on Saturday, but with a new manager I will be. I will also be behind the players as well and that includes Vernon.
I'm not happy with our squad, far from it.  But booing anyone from the start will not achieve a thing.
It's not easy to move on, but I'm trying.  We sometimes blame the players for their lack of commitment. Let's not be guilty of the same offence.

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

So you weren't going until we got a new manager but now you asking everybody else to fall into line...?

I don't quite get your logic there.

Surely your "lack of commitment" was more profound than those who went to the games and showed their feelings?

That's right. I wasn't going until we got a new manager.  I don't see anywhere in my post that I am saying others should now do the same.
My commitment comment was about whilst at the match.  You'll also see that I talk about moving on.  The club are moving on and in that case so will I.  I will be committed to the new regime unless they give me reason not to be committed.  I guess peoples opinion of staying away will differ.  You think those that went and boo'd and chanted negative songs etc showed commitment.  Yes, they put money into the club, but I doubt they did anything whatsoever to improve the performance on the pitch, probably the opposite.  I preferred to stay away, no negative influence on the players (who I believe are only slightly to blame), but a negative influence on the man I blame for us being in the sh1t we are in (ie; loss of income).  I am hoping that the fans will back the new manager, of course I am.  But everyone is entitled to opinions.  That's the beauty of the game.

I will be there whoever it is. The club's status is far more important than any individual right now. That's my stance, but i don't have any problem with others who may feel differently. Each to their own.
