If Stuart McCall is only available after his break, would this be a potential excuse to cover the time inbetween?

Quoted from Superdan147
Paul Wilkinson to be announced as the permanent manager till the end of the season with David Byrne as his number two. Absolute disgrace IMO. Been a part of the problem for the last 10 months, done nothing in his entire coaching career to suggest he can get us out of this mess, responsible for at least 3 poor signings (killip, Kelly, hooper) , bottled the chance to shake things up and put his stamp on things yesterday and then followed it with a totally slade like deluded interview.

We are well and truly doomed, relegation is a certainty. What a complete and utter shambles throughout

Fake News!  we need an experienced manager who will gain instant respect from the players and who has the
character to lift the confidence of the players and fans.
This won`t be Slade`s assistant who unfortunately has exceeded his limit, and seems miles away from being a Churchillian figure, so who has those characteristics and his mad enough to practise them here is a problem

I see the Telegraph are speculating that Wilko is to be given the job. Do they know anything more than us though is the question.

RH reporting a rumour that says it’ll be Askey. It does sound as though we are close to an appointment being made but I expect that to be debunked by the club today and told they are taking their time to make the right choice.

At least if we were to go down, Askey would be a good choice to have in the Conference.

I hope we bring someone new in but, it will take them at least 2-3 games to assess the current players, so that's more games lost and deeper into the crap. Unless he can spend the next 48 hours locked in room watching game videos to see who's crap and who's absolute crap, or Fenty can tell him the team selection as he's such a football expert!

Well I had a few quid on Wilko at 10/1 but I'd be happy to lose the money, in fact I hope I do
