A starting line up bereft of pace and creativity..

Hall -Johnson looked quite sharp when he came on last home game.

We have two teams here who  are in similar positions. Cambridge went 12 without a win, not scoring goals and replaced the manager. Same situation for us. Cambridge got their caretaker off to a flying start with an away win to end their run, which was not too bad as it helped us. It's now our turn to do the same.

Interesting in so far as that line up makes it look like Slade never left?

Will be H-J at centre half and Mills wing back surely?

H-J is no centre back. Plays right back or right mid. Mills can play centre back though. Will have to wait 'til kick off and see how we line up.

Almost read bereft of pace as Berrett but one and the same thing really aren't they?

Hall-Johnson didn't look brilliant in the air the other week whereas Mills is strong in this area. Hall-Johnson also quite nippy and, I believe, has played as a winger in the past so he'll definitely be the wing-back.

Happy enough with that formation myself, just as long as everyone puts in a good shift.

Presume it’s David Bryne, Tondeur says he’s been brought in as part of the staff helping out short term.

What’s happened to the young lad from Leeds?

A victim of the only 5 loans allowed I presume, a shame as he looked promising

Lopsided bench, 2 left- wingers and 3 forwards? maybe give Cardwell a chance, but do we need both Hooper and Vernon as well? must be frustrating for Clifton again.

Not a team that remotely inspires me. But then, with what we currently have at our disposal, I'm not sure any manager in the world could pick and inspiring team.
