beat them in the first match of the season, saying
" Chesterfield are a good side. They'll be there or
thereabouts at the end of the season "

We were pretty good that day. Dembele's through ball and Jones' finish was a good piece of football. Shame we didn't try to do more of this, more often. In fact, I'm not sure we tried to pass it in the final third again until Summerield set up Dembele to score at Port Vale - another good footballing goal. Aside from those two rare lapses into artistry and invention, Slade just had us welly the f**k out of it and hope for the best.
What were we thinking with that passing nonsense eh?!
