No we need someone who doesn't know what working for GTFC is like, doesn't know what a shithole BP and the town is, has never heard of Fenty and 'SHUT UP' and is able to bring in 20 new players in the Summer for nowt.

Have the interviews in a cafe somewhere on the AI / M180 and let Matt Dean pose as our MD.

It's worked out very well in the past 😭😭😭

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

I think I might go into hiding for a bit until the manager is announced, the new 'silly season'.

Craig Shakespeare managed in the Champions League last season ffs.

Would be a culture shock for him going from selecting Vardy and Mahrez to Vernon and Woolford!

First and most important we have got to survive this season then sort out the fallout left behind by Slade. He really has left this squad in the shat.
