Team sat comfortably at the top of their league, plenty of attacking and scoring so it's a good move for both parties. They get a quality sign in to help finish off their promotion and he gets to slot into a team full of positivity and anotjer promotion under his belt and potentially a few goals to get his confidence up

He'll urine that level, what a waste. He should be in his prime. I know he's had other issues so if he's happy then good luck to him.

Love him but he's at his level now.
|
| In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions. Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them. GOD |

He'll probably have a storming end to the season and get a decent deal there for the next 2. Good move.

He was only on the fringe at Lincoln, Danny Cowley obviously thought he didn't cut it anymore. Probably suited both parties parting company.......

the Cowleys had watched plenty of highlights and as their squad were left short at the back they had to trim the front and sides otherwise they would be left perming any 3 from 5 of the remaining players...the other options were head and shoulders above him which led Nathan to mullet over and opt for a change of colours.

How does that work??? Plying his trade in that league so that's his level.

You actually think that Nathan Arnold is not good enough to play for a top conference team, if not L2? Have you ever noticed players playing above or below their level before? I'd say we've got half a dozen playing one level above their ability. I give you Martin Woolford - vastly inferior to Arnold. Your theory is dead.

I know they were all older, but having watched Chris Nicol, Gary Birtles, Paul Futcher, Trevor Whymark and others in the black and white over the years does it really matter what "level" anyone is at as long as they're enjoying the game and performing to the ebst of their ability?
You'll note I did leave Mike Lyons out of that group of esteemed players.

How can anyone say the Conference is not Nathan Arnold's level when he's played a major role for teams promoted from that league two seasons in a row?'

He's not a league player. Far to inconsistent
