The word controversy seems inextricably linked with the name Shaun Harvey. Odious, toad faced twonk.

I don't see a problem. If Sutton finish top then promote the second team, if they finish in the play-offs then exclude them and include the next highest team.

I can remember when QPR installed a plastic pitch. When Town played there, they went down and stayed at QPRs expense in a hotel, so that they could have extra training on it to get use to it. The plastic pitches back then were completely different to playing on grass and gave QPR an unfair advantage since the bounce and speed of the ball was completely different.
What are the plastic pitches like now? Are they still completely different, or has the technology improved so that they are more or less the same as grass to play on? Could someone out there enlighten me please?
If they are now the same as grass, then I don't see a problem. It's if they are still different then I can see problems.

The money it costs will easily be recovered just by being in the Football League, or they could always ground share until the rules change. Hopefully, the EFL will change their rules in the next year.

I went to qpr twice in a week in the early 8os losing both times, the first time in the league we took about 200 the next week in the fa cup the same end was absolutely rammed. The pitch was awful the bounce was crazy and the ball moved to quick very unfair imo

Crazy day! Not a fan of 3G pitches. Always seems a bit harder on the joints for players, more conducive to injuries and an unfair advantage to the home team. However much they've improved, I think they're a great tool for bad weather training for League clubs, and a cost cutter and income stream for non-league clubs, nothing more..

Much prefer playing on 3g/4g pitches. I'm just shocking instead of absolutely shite on grass pitches.

| The wife was going away for a girly weekend. I jokingly remarked 'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football' 'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked She said 'Well you already know how to play football' |
