Meanwhile, Russell Slade still in his job at Grimsby Town having not won a game in 11 matches, taking only 4 out of a possible 33 points, including 7 defeats and 4 draws.

28. Stuart McCall (Bradford City) - sacked following six successive defeats - failed to sign Kristian Dennis at the last minute, Chesterfield decided to cancel. Could of been the difference?

21. Mark McGhee - sacked after five consecutive defeats after 2 months in charge.

20. Mark Hughes (Stoke) - sacked after five defeats in seven Premier League games and FA Cup third-round exit at the hands of League Two Coventry City.

19. Mark Warburton (Notts Forest) - sacked after winning one of their past seven league games and lost 1-0 at home to Sunderland in his final game.

18. Carlos Carvalhal (Sheffield Wednesday) - sacked after backlash from fans, without a victory in seven games, and have lost their last three in the Championship.

17. Garry Monk (Middlesbrough) - sacked after 10 wins in 23 Championship games this season.

16. Paul Clement (Swansea) - sacked after losing nine of his last 11 games.

15. Leonid Slutsky (Hull) - left by "mutual consent" after six months in charge, following seven games without a win.
