Get him in before Saturday with Dave Moore short term one knows the players one knows how to win football matches. We all know he isn`t the answer long term but with 15 games to go he will win at least 5 and keep us up.More importantly let the two of them oversee the Managerial recruitment process for the next GTFC Manager come May on behalf of the football club and maybe just maybe we can get ourselves back on track.Slade has set us back years and sadly an awful lot of people predicted it would come to this.We must preserve our league status and there are no better candidates available than these two blokes they have the experience and the passion to get us the 15 points we need.

Great call simple decision if we really want to preserve our league status, not only will they give the club some stability it will also give the board time needed to make the right choice to bring in the right manager to take us forward.

IF, Buckley (or any new manager) gets appointed today, they then have to be backed to get some quality through the door and get rid of the 5hite that's been left over from the past 2 incumbents.
And, I would like to think that Fenty would try to get some love and support back in the club by getting bums on seats for saturdays game. Reduce all tickets to £10 (£1 kid with an adult) and take an extra 10p on a pie or a pint. Get the warmth back around the club John and feel the pride and passion that the supporters have.

I think that would be a good option; I hate to advocate that anyone should lose their job, but we cannot carry on like this. Not only the abysmal performances, week after week, but a total inability to score and now we have our own players fighting with one another. AB would probably not want the job on a long-term basis, and he probably wouldn't be the best option anyway, but he and Dave Moore will settle the ship, restore discipline and confidence, and hopefully keep us up. Having said that, I'm not sure where goals will come from, In the intervening time, the board will have time to consider options more carefully rather than taking knee-jerk decisions. We are at a critical time in the history of the club; if we do go down, we all know how difficult it is to get out of that accursed league. We could end up like Torquay or Stockport.

Buckley and Mooro until the end of the season? Then a new manager in the summer. Sounds sensible.

I'm certain that AB has no interest in full time management these days however some advisory role alongside Dave Moore makes some sense. The goals may be there, in Wilks and Vernam, who can say that Cardwell couldn't find his groove under Buckley. It's not too dissimilar a situation to when AB took over from Bobby Roberts, with some half decent and unfinished players just waiting to be shown the ropes. Marc North was a goalie turned striker but looked below average until Buckley came in, partnered him with Big Keith, added a bit of fire and close skills with Rees and look what happened. We have the players here to replicate that I reckon, one thing for sure it's a massively better idea than the current one, just throwing young lads like Clifton and Wilks onto games where the whole team has disintegrated both tactically and in spirit like last night at Yeovil.

Would AB really want to come in to the current situation? What if he fails and we end up going down? Surely he wouldn’t risk that!
There has to be more to the current form than poor management.
