Think someone should do a Power Point and send it to Slade.

Loving your posts mate.
The only thing that's made me grin tonight.
Russ on the radio now.

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Am I the only one on here tonight that feeling  on top of the world?

This defeat has guaranteed he will never again be in charge of our dear Football Club.

Guess it will be Moore  in charge on Saturday, can’t get any worse.

We have reached our lowest ebb his season, with that defeat tonight it can only get better!

Are we any closer to getting promoted since Hurst has been here? No

Has he been given time to achieve promotion by the chairman and fans? Yes

Hurst out

Dear Russell

I was one of the few fans that welcomed your reappointment at our football club. I told my fellow fans that you’re experience at managing in League One and the Championship since leaving us would mean you’d bring in some much needed experience. Nearly all of your signings have been woeful, we attracted a better calibre of players when we were in the Conference. Waiting all summer long for JJ Hooper !! You shouldn’t gone then !! In the 18 months since this club returned to the Football League you’ve not only destroyed the squad - you’ve kept the fans away - you’ve made people lose interest - you’ve destroyed the momentum of “Operation Promotion” and we are now in a state of where the fans have never felt so disconnected with the club. You’ve made me ashamed of myself for smirking when we concede in the hope that this is one more nail in your coffin.

Of course you can’t head all the blame - I’m sad that our chairman has let this role - and let’s face it you’re good buddies !! It’s clear to me that Mr Fenty won’t sack you ! So do the right thing Russell and had in your resignation. You’re as unwanted as Mike Bassett as England Manager before he turned things around ! But this isn’t the movies ! There’s gonna be no Tonka to save you ! In fact intercourse it !! I’d rather have Ricky Tomlinson kitted out in his Mike Bassett attire in our dugout than have to suffer through another excrement pointless game of “BOOM BALL” to quote a famous Irish footballer their

The fans don’t want you, the town doesn’t want you, the players probably don’t want you ! Go now ! Do the right thing ! Go before you take us even further. It’s gonna take a while to fix this mess, find a new manager and get rid of half of most of this squad you’ve lumbered us with but at least you won’t be here

Go now !!!
Right now !!!

We've been thinking that for weeks after a shocking defeat.

In nearly every other game Woolford starts or comes on but, tonight 2-0 down, 2 men down he brings on Clifton, here's betting come Saturday Clifton will be overlooked again, Russ this is no way to develop future players, your playing politics with a young professional, you should be ashamed.
