A new striker of any quality will not turn this around. It's beyond tactics and personnel...Slade should be gone, WOULD be gone at any other club. Problem is Fenty has become so ar$ey with the fans he's determined to hang on and is slowly, grindingly, painfully trying to prove us wrong. The players must sense that, this is not a team playing to their best or showing willingness for the cause, they know it's broken. To repair it means getting rid of the faulty component.

We must be close to the point where other board members, GTFC staff, friends and family are having a quiet word with the non-chairman and are talking him down from this dangerously high ledge he's stubbornly walked out onto.
