I heard on the grapevine that RS isn't a big fan of Jones and seeing Jones' reaction at times he has been substituted I think that feeling may be mutual.

I am no fan of Slade but if a manager sees ( as does the world) that they aren't scoring enough goals then surely he is right to try and bring players in who may do so?

I'd rather have 8 strikers and stay in this league, than go down with 6 mis-firing ones. We can worry about trimming the squad at the end of the season.

Vernam has definitely pepped up the front line. Let's hope this lad does the same.

He needed to bring forward players in but the point that Slade has built a very, very large squad which is very low on quality seems a pretty fair one to me.

The two new strikers up front, a Dembele firing on all cylinders. Seems quite an exciting option to me.
