She was wearing a tight Town away shirt from 1996 and a lace thong.... plus a black and white garter on her left thigh.

Is this wrong?

Yes. We definitely didn't have thongs and garters in 96.

I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
