I don’t see Groves’ name as being tarnished. He took over a championship side punching above it’s weight on the brink of administration. Bloody tough job!

And he’s one of the greatest players to have played for us in my lifetime.

He did a superb job keeping us in the second tier and there was no shame in going down the year after, but the batterings we received in 03-04 tarnish him a bit in my eyes, unfortunately.

McDermott’s Alfreton team were the dirtiest side I’ve seen all season on Saturday.

They seemed more concerned about trying to break legs than scoring a goal.

I have it on very good authority that Moyses has 'bought' his way into the job by investing money into the club!

Still taking a wage but all a little odd if you ask me!
