Dropped most likely. He was never not going to have the new lad in the match day squad and with Vernon starting, even Slade isn't mad enough to take Matt or Jones out of the squad in favour of Hooper. Not that they're pulling up any trees but they're definitely better than Hooper.

Means we now have 3 players signed this summer on 2 year deals who can't even get in the match day squad. What the actual fuck was going through his mind when he dished the contracts out?!

Dont worry guys, if we keep it down to 1-0 theres always that first shot on target we get on 87 mins to come, it might go in and earn us a point. Another 45 mins of dross. I hope were not paying any part of the keepers wages, he looks no better than Killip in a crowded box, might as well give him experience to see if he can improve.
Summary for us no real chances no shots on goal, no football.
Newport 4 good chances 3 on target, 2 kicked/headed off the line, a goal and a melee in the box that saw us block 2 shots/headers in 6 yard box and their guy blaze it over the bar from 8 yards.

Lets hope for better 2nd half

Update:  I think I've got this right - He was the messiah. He then wasn't. He then was again. Then it turned out he actually wasnt. He turned into one big huge messiah again. Now he's not actually the messiah we thought he was . Now I'm hoping he rises again quickly

Can't face Colchester next week I was really looking forward to it but I think we'll get flipping slaughtered. Last year was bad enough with Omar, Dis, Macca etc  (3-0 down at HT if I recall) but this season could be really embarrassing.

We are in free fall, teams below us are picking up points, another week or so and we’ll be in the thick of it on a god awful run. We cannot score for love nor money but cannot defend either. We are copulated, any spare money we had for some signings has to be spent on getting rid of Slade.

I can put up with losing if we battle and fight, but we can’t even be copulated to do that, we’re a team full of journeymen who don’t give a flying intercourse about the club.

It’s actually embarrassing.

Update:  I think I've got this right - He was the messiah. He then wasn't. He then was again. Then it turned out he actually wasnt. He turned into one big huge messiah again. Now he's not actually the messiah we thought he was . Now I'm hoping he rises again quickly
