Quoted from cmackenzie4
This takes me right back!

Is that the one with the neighbour who was always warning about 'dem Russkies'?

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Used to love this as a kid -

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. Promise a man someone else's fish and he votes Labour.

Wonder Years, it still stands up as a classic TV series in my opinion. Perfect warm mix of humour, drama, history and family life. Compulsory Sunday night viewing slotted between the Harry Seacombe God TV slot and Bullseye antidote to the Monday morning dread.

Jossy's Giants written by Darts's Sid Wardell.

Loved watching all the sitcoms with the family as a kid with this Bill Maynard classic being a particular favourite, 'Magic, our Maurice'.
