The gulf in class between us and them is going to get greater as each week goes by during this transfer window. In all honesty if we played them now they would absolutely murder us.

Won't be long before a higher club takes a punt on the Cowley's like Shrewsbury did with Hurst.

Then it's a lottery replacing them..........don't we know.

Wison from Sheffield United 2 and a half year deal 28 years old. We have clarke and Collins at the ages of 35. So for me Lincoln at it again surly some one out there must agree with me. My last post 8 red crosses and counting just being honest with what am seeing during this transfer window.

They have a better chance of keeping them for a bit longer because Lincoln gave them a 5 year contract when promotion was won,

Hurst however was on a 6 month rolling one,

Don't ask me how long Slade has got left on his,

BUT

It does not matter because no other club would want to take him off our hands.

Is Wilson that good of a signing? He's nearly 29 and has only had two seasons in his career where he's managed more than 25 games. And those two seasons were for lower midtable Oldham in L1. Not saying he'll be a bad signing but he's hardly the next Beckenbauer is he? Also not disputing that he's probably a better player than what we'll sign but that says more about us than it does about them.

As for murdering us, I agree, like earlier in the season where they completely dominated us and won 5-0. Wind your neck in. They're better than us at the minute but they're hardly world beaters, far from impossible that they could be in 10th place come 5pm on Saturday. What I am jealous of is how well run they are off the pitch, I can only dream of Town having a board that insightful and pro-active.

Welcome Bentley.

Unfortunately, at the moment, no one wants to be reminded how well Lincoln are doing. He looks another very good signing and no doubt is there to replace Raggett, thus keeping them on track. Along with Frecklington, they appear to have strengthened well.

What do you expect? You created an account on here solely for the purpose of telling us that Lincoln had signed a player. A Gimp WUM perhaps?

Don't care about gtfc??? Or who other clubs are signing??? Surly looking at transfer activity at our nearest rivals being Lincoln is not wrong I look at what hull are doing and Scunthorpe. And am sure if we signed some one with the wow factor the Lincoln fans would take note. Chester this season had a striker from derbys u23 did not a lot and went back I believe he has now joined eastligh.  Our new signing from derby is on par with this fellow. I am Grimsby though my blood. I was the team coach driver for 1 season when russell  slade first came. And after that the supporters coach driver. I no Terry hall very well Janice etc. Lincoln are after a striker be very interesting who they bring in compared to what we get.

Grimsby have bigger issues to focus on than Lincoln's transfer business, both on the field and off the field sadly.

What are Hull doing? Take a closer look they’re  just a bigger version of the basket case we call GTFC

Man U are after Sanchez apparently which, that means the same to me as a Lincoln signing - nothing!

Talking of rivals I heard Scunny are keen to loan a young striker out who they have great hopes for.

Could be worth a punt.

To be honest I'm not that bothered what Lincoln do, what worries me is that many of the clubs around us are adding to their squads while we sit twiddling our thumbs.

Completely agree mate, if it does not catch up with us this season I'm sure it will eventually.

Fenty needs to be giving them advice about how to avoid getting promoted.

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Does it bother me who Lincoln sign? Yes it does! This time last year they were 10 places below us in the ladder, now they're 10 ahead and looking like they're disappearing off into the sunset whilst we dither about in Jurassic Park. Why are L1 & Championship players signing for Lincoln? Progress! Lincoln have got a progressive board, a progressive management team and a progressive attitude to their fans whilst we drag our knuckles along the ground.

Dear board members - chucking money into the hands of a manager who's past his sell-by isn't the way forward. Young managers with new ideas represents progress, you know like the one you sacked.

1. Pete
2. Ipswin
3. M93

Not sure what order Fenty has them placed.

I don't know who the others are
