What a great game this was. If only we could get back to having somewhere near that sort of team and players once again.

You're right Les, he was dreadful as manager but we were in the second division, with some good players, giving Arsenal a proper game in front of 12,000 fans. That time was not good with him in charge, but it's light years from where we are now.

I must admit, even though we lost, that was one of the few highlights of his tenure. Probably the only game Town have lost that I enjoyed. Charlie Nicholas was a class above that day.
