Quoted from Fishbone
When we beat Everton 2-1 on 30th October, 1979, League Cup 4th round, 22,043 at Blundell Park to witness Mick Brolly scoring twice, inspiring the headline in The Sun 'Good Golly, it's Brolly'. Was in the Harrington Street corner (open) in the teeming rain screaming for the final whistle for what felt like an eternity!

Same for me stood next  to my late dear dad and brother in law getting so drunk after

Actually it's one that Town lost in 2005---0-1 against Newcastle-Shearer claimed Whittle split his lip with his elbow-no foul given so it must have been a clean elbow.

The Fulham win at home in the first leg 97-98 season and the Liverpool away game when Jevons scored the wonder goal 2001

Sorry to be pedantic, but it was the second leg.

That's one of the 'I wish I'd been there games', along with the Burnley AWS semifinal that year, the Liverpool 2001 game, the Exeter 1972 game.......

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.

An obvious one would be Jevons beating Liverpool at Anfield. Great night out apart from the brick through the back of our coach window on the way home.

But for pure entertainment value the best is still Grimsby 6 - 5 Burnley at the BP. Think Kabba got a hattrick that night.

OK for the youngsters especially, but not exclusively, which game from non-League days would you go back to if you could (FGR Play-off final excluded)?

I'd probably got for the SF at Eastleigh in 2015.

Best non-league away day by a country mile was Barnet 1 Town 3 the inflateable invasion day.

At the time we still had a slim chance of catching Barnet but if we'd have lost it would have been all over, so to win the game in the manner we did in front of almost 1000 inflatable wielding fans was something else.

I really enjoyed the Wrexham game just before Christmas 2012.

As for non non league (and steering away from Wembley or Anfield), I'd say Burnley away in 98, or Fulham at home in the playoffs. Wrexham for the Birtles hat-trick too. (I realise this is 2 more than the requested one!)

Here's a random one that most people won't think about.

Away at Reading in the 4th Round FA Cup replay in 1988/89 (I think) when we won 2-1 to secure a trip to Wimbledon, with goals from Shaun Cunnington and Kevin Jobling.

I thought we'd have a couple of hundred or so there that night but we nearly filled the old away end at Elm Park. Must have been about 1500 Town there that night as well as a variety of different inflateables.

seen hundreds of games since my first one in 1967, but no question about it for me - beating FGR at Wembley to back in the Football League.  Just think if we'd still been in that league ....
