Just setting off, must  admit without slightest feeling of enthusiasm, thanks John.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you give him an excuse for him to escape from the wife and kids for the weekend and drink lots of beer.

Well ‘blow me down with a feather’ never thought I would see the day when the twit with the hat would drop Berrett.
He must be feeling the heat.

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

I think Berrett and Woolford are not 100%, so that could explain 2 of the changes. Dixon forced the other change and Jones has been out of sorts. Don't think he would have changed much otherwise and the one change that isn't forced in Jones, i don't agree with.

However, i shall go and see for myself. Here's hoping.

His body language has been a bit dodgy lately, but he's not having much luck and the supply to him is poor to be honest. Missed a pen and hit the inside of the post in the last couple of home games and he has maybe lost a bit of confidence. However, he looks to me about the only player we have who looks like scoring. One of our better players for me and should be playing, possibly in an attacking midfield role?

Jones has been poor recently, but, penalty aside, he's been feeding off scraps. Hopefully he'll come on with Osborne in the second half.

Also, not so sure about playing a right back at left back, but I suppose it could only be someone playing out of position so needs must.

Decent save from McKeown

Considering the time Rose has had out hes doing okay..

We still dont move the ball fast enough going forward.

Not a bad game but our central defenders are struggling with the height and movement of their two strikers and their No. 19 is buzzing in around behind them dangerously.

One or two good bits of play from Jaiyesimi but Dembele isn't getting involved on the left.

For me, Rose is just well off the pace and I think I'd actually prefer to see Berrett in there.

Vernon and Hooper doing OK but it's always almost with them both - almost a good flick on, almost a good lay-off etc.

Despite not playing overly well much of the time, we've had a few good chances but unfortunately their keeper has dealt with them all.

Good save by McKeown at the end which was all he's really needed to do. They should have scored just after that, I reckon.

Maddening to see us defending with 11 men at set pieces as the ball is literally coming straight back at us every time we clear it with no pressure on the ball at all. I'm staggered that somebody with Slade's experience is getting team to defend like this.

There we are sums it up, 15 mins left 11 players defending the corner, should be at least 2 players left up

Honestly I think you're more a fan of our former players than the actual club lol.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.

Not a single shot in the last 10 mins, subs made things worse. This is just like Port Fail last season, rarely got a hammering but would go 3/4 games at a time without scoring.

Only saving grace is that everyone at the bottom lost (I'm ignoring Chesterfield as they are so far behind)

Sounds a bit like watching Neil Woods relegation side , they never really played that bad but still never win a game for 20 odd matches.
A couple more losses and I'd get rid

Didn't go today out of disgust at the clubs made up BS about th reasons for low crowds at checkatrade games being fans being bullied away. I nearly cracked and went but glad I didn't now.

Dunno what table you're looking at, but it's 7 off the play offs, 9 away from relegation

I'd give him two more games, if we don't get at least three points then he's got to go. As an aside have we ever had "Fenty Out" spray-painted on a bed sheet before? I'd quite like to be the first next Saturday if not.

Your right 9 from relegation must misread, Im assuming the fact we would have to make up a 14 goal difference to catch up, I see it as 8 points to playoffs in reality.

Over the years I have believed that I have known something about football but having watched games this season that are supposed to be organised and planned by professionals i am sorry to say that I have been kidding myself. If what is being served up at BP is football then I don't know what the game is that I have been playing or watching for 65+ years. It is not just the players--if every child in a class failed the exam the teacher would be out of the school gate on his Rse.

Just realised we lost 2-0 last week. It says it all about how flipping dull we are that I can remember the score at, say, Macclesfield, 10 years ago, but not one 7 days ago.
