I'd quite like to see us try the 352 thing in the League.

Not sure you could play the Osmond stand up front although it would be more mobile than Matt or Vernon

We could have Barrett feeding balls through to Osmond.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

I don't think we've got the pace to play a back 3 - not in the centre-backs or the full-backs/wingers playing as the wide men in a midfield 5.

I think the fact that we played so much 4-2-3-1 at the start of the season (and during pre-season) showed how Slade planned for us to play, but it just didn't work with the players at our disposal.

A 442 Diamond
Macca

Davies
Osbourn (I wanted some pace in the back line and Davies is playing too well to drop at the mo)
Collins
Dixon

Dembele
Jones (nothing agianst Berret but I wanted to keep Jones in the side) higher up supporting the front 2
Summerfield sitting in front of back 4
DJ

Vernon
Cardwell (I want this lad to have a chance I feel he could make a difference with that little bit of extra pace and I think he knows where the net is)

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

I once said Gazza's IQ was less than his shirt number and he asked me: What's an IQ? - George Best

Regarding Cardwell, why do some people think he's relatively quick?

From the few occasions I've seen him play, he's looked well, not slow, but certainly nothing like quick. I'd be staggered if he was quicker than Matt as he certainly doesn't look it, so why think we should put him in for extra pace? Sorry, just don't get this.

Last time he appeared as a sub, he left one of their defenders for dead. He surprised me with his turn of pace.

Watch the highlights from saturday, and every single highlight of a town attack (using the word loosely) heavily involved jones. He does much more than just score goals.

I would even consider playing Jones & Dembele up front - that might encourage everyone else to keep the ball on the deck.

The one thing that pisses me off more than anything about Town isn't the so called hoofball but the lack of positive runs from midfield. That doesn't take skill on the ball but I guess does need some coaching and a brain.

Just want to see one of our players sprint beyond the strikers, preferably a different one at different times. Play the ball up to Vernon, Matt or Jones and then have at least one player busting a gut to time his run beyond them. Forward then either flicks it on or plays it back for a ball played in behind.

Every games we sit with the 4 midfielders in a line and 4 defenders behind them. Far too cautious for me, football is about taking calculated risks and imposing ourselves on the oppo

Slade will make changes for Tuesday as he doesn't seem to think players can play twice in a few days.

One things for sure we need to be aware of them 'winning' free kicks around our box and their set plays in general.

Dembele should play in behind Jones, find pockets of space and get the ball to his feet so he can run at the defence and push them back
