Matt is going to be a massive handful for opposing teams and a brilliant foil for Jones hope this is the start of a brilliant duo.

Played well overall. A few blunders but the effort was there across the squad.

Ref an absolute homer.

Fenty deserved his lap of honour on the pitch 😉

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Probably some prat making up some rubbish to make JF's life more miserable and not content with winning because they can't moan tonight.

I've wasted my life in black and white, a pathetic act for a worthless cause

Re Summerfield. Ran around, ran a good way back when they broke from a corner and put a great clean tackle in from behind. Didnt really notice him much and he did not manage one of those trademark dodgy passes. Rose looked good first half but seemed to lose his ability to stand where he should in the 2nd and caught out of position, so good move to bring summerfield on at that point. Main issue was if our defence were running back to their own goal on breaks, just not quicjk enough, led to their goal and still well dodgy defending corners. But looked like every player wanted it and put in 100% while they were on the pitch

A hard fought win that brings much needed relief, and maybe an insight that some of our performances are down to confidence. Well tonight showed we can dig in, block and score from open play. We still give the ball away far too much and some players getting either turned or done too easily, so there is still a lot of work to do. Good to see Woolford using his experience to close players down and slot home for the winner. Dembele for me looked to be getting wound up by their players and I counted 6 rolls and a hand banging on the floor from their player, I think No7 and the player (I think no11) who got Davies booked after two steps of walking wounded sprinted off like nothing happened.

Great turn out from town fans and safe journey home.

Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.
