The flask ban was a bit of a shock but, other than that, no.

I'm going to bring my coffee in a hot water bottle this season. Keep my legs warm until I drink it.

The media has a duty to report the news, especially when there are a lot of people interested in a particular topic.

In other words, we should never be afraid to ask anyone in authority tough questions.

Let's remember that the club haven't said this, and we're reading between the lines, but *if* this boils down to Fenty being upset or worried about Nigel Lowther asking difficult questions then I really worry about his ability to run this football club properly.

This is a perfect example of the football club making a decision and not giving a second's thought to how this might be interpreted by the fans. We are secondary, and that's what bothers me most.

The fans are the lifeblood of the club. The club is nothing without us. But you'd never guess that by the way we're treated sometimes.

There are parallels here with the B teams fiasco as well. Sod the fans as long as we can pinch a few extra quid. After Op Promotion it felt like the club was closer to the local community than it had been for a long time. Unfortunately that seems to be unraveling.

It's plain daft at a time when the Club needs friends ahead of the new ground development.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Weird !

Nigel is a lifelong Town fan, regular home and away down the years and in his former Telegraph life had the "on the touchline" feature for a few years in the early 90's with behind the scenes stories and supporter reviews etc generally supporting the club and supporters.

Will that be applying to all media outlets now ? If it isnt then the club should explain why just one local newspaper is singled out ?

Will the club only allow interviews with their own media team which will only be available on IFollow?

I think the Telegraph do have some sort of 'sponsorship ' and are the clubs 'preferred media partner' but I think this decision is in response to NL's questions at the unveiling of RS and his previously stated opposition to Peaks Parkway?

Further proof that if you don't toe the club line then the toys really do come out the pram

The Grimsby Telegraph and Radio Humberside do have one to one access at press conferences included in their broadcast/media sponsorship agreements. We have in the past had complaints about the Chronicle’s unrestricted and unmonitored access to the Manager.

So all this is based on complaints from GET and RH? 'We pay for it so why shouldn't The Chronicle'.
