Can I just check, are we spelling with or without a "u", and does the obligatory "s" only get added if he signs?

Never mind how we spell Osbourne(s), the name Karleigh is going to sound excruciating to the ear in a Grimsby accent.

We do have some similar pronuciations to them for some words.  "Car park" isn't completely different - "chicken, chips and a coke" is miles off though.

In many ways, Grimsby is a bit of a Liverpool of the East:  Own accent, mischievous sense of humour borne out of port town graft and characters, influences of other countries' seafarers, a bit of sod-youism in attitude, insular but at the same time generous and resilient.
