Liverpool recalled him because Port Vale wasn't playing him at left back and it wasn't doing him any good , also he wasn't happy at being played out of position.

If he signs then give him a chance - another Townsend type player would be an excellent find.

Question. when has a national paper EVER given a solid source to a signing to Grimsby Town and their fans???

Chris Hussey, LB who's played most of his career in L1 and L2, only played 7 times for Sheff United last season.

I see Hussey has signed for Lge 2 Swindon on a season long loan. Shame, he seemed to fit the bill
