The four goals he scored here is the most he's scored for any club anywhere.

Matt Godden - out of contract at the end of the season, nailed 20 goals in 36 league appearances for Stevenage.

Good Call Nelly - him and James Collins are the best shouts so far for me.

Henderson too but doubt we would get him back if the rumours of reasons for him leaving are true.

Shay McCartan from Accrington would be worth considering too I reckon.

I'm not sure any of these are realistic to be honest.

This is just listing some of the best players in League 2. If they're the best in the league, why would they come here (unless we offered them a fair wedge)?

Any good prospects from non league?
Considering our standout performers this year most of them come from non league and not the other direction.. Andrew, Mills, Pearson and Osbourne when he has come in.

I think the way to go for a club like ours is cherry picking the best from leagues below and young players released from leagues above. As long as we get enough experience in the starting eleven we need to continue unearthing young talent like Bogle, Mills, Osborne, S. Jones etc. Getting it right on the pitch and developing saleable assets at the same time is crucial..

Andrew didn't come from non league. We only got him because of his injury record and i wouldn't be surprised if he went back to League 1 now he is fit. Hope he stays though.
