There is Salvo's in Headingley Barra? Not sure if they cook in the middle but it's a long-standing family run restaurant?

That's the one Rodders! Nice one. Actually the first place I ever had a calzone. Great atmosphere...

Have to admit, never heard of the Italian place in Headingley. That said, as an impoverished student, the only place we ever ate out was Nafees curry house in the early hours of the morning after a night out!

Like others say, not much in whether you go Burley or Headingley. Plenty of good pubs and places too eat as well - really good place too watch Cricket (and live I must say!).

I like about 30 seconds away from the ground so drop us a PM if you need any advice.

Had a great weekend in Leeds last August for my birthday. Some cracking pubs there, most of them recommended by Rodley among others. Headingley is also my favourite cricket ground. Remember going there in a mini bus during the miners strike and the rozzers stopped us thinking we were flying pickets. Had to produce our match tickets to be allowed to move on, which was fortunate because a lot of times we would just go without tickets and buy them outside the ground.
