As a strategy for dealing with situation I hope JF just puts up a big NOT FOR SALE sign at Blundell Park for Omar.

Tell any clubs that come-a-courting where to get off, he's staying. There's absolutely no need to rush into things. Once the window is starting to come to a close is when the bargaining begins and higher league managers start to get twitchy about not signing a proven goalscorer. If they don't come, I'd be more than happy anyway.

Well if we do only owe him £1.6m then if we get £2.5m for Omar then we should repay it all.

As someone who contributed to the funding operation, I would like to know how much of that was spent bringing Omar to the club.

Then when he goes I can work out the return on my £40.00 😉

A 3 million total (2.5 plus add ons) from an initial outlay of 30k equates to a hundred-fold increase so my hundred quid should pocket me a cool 10k all in all...

No idea how true it is but a Rotherham fan on another forum says they have made a 2nd bid for Omar. Doesn't say how much though.
