Listened to 5 live commentary.....sounded like the Ingles did the right thing in pulling him out before he sustained any serious injury.

In hindsight maybe question why they even took the fight against such a solid champion, at two weights up, for Brooks first attempt at that weight.

Watched the bout this morning, Kel had a great heart and was brave to get in with GGG (especially with GGG having such knockout power )  but he proved he's not a middleweight he needs to stay at Welter or light middle, GGG was awesome and wore Kel down with his power. GGG made Kel look ordinary and any boxer who can do that to Kel is a class act.

GGG is one of the best/toughest boxers I've seen In a long time.

Agree Chris, I watched the fight live and after the first round I just thought he looked to lightweight in there, but to be fair he had a really good second round and it looked as though he'd rattled GGG I was starting to think just maybe it could be was of those special nights but the damage was already done. You could see when he came out for round 3 something was troubling him but massive respect to him for carrying on, a true warrior just pleased his corner threw in the towel because kell was never going to give up.

I'd like to see him fight at light middle now he does say he's always struggled getting down to welterweight so maybe that's the way to go maybe fight the winner of Smith v Canelo which should be a cracking fight.

Can you remember when you boxed that kid from York Tone (not sure of venue but my opponent didn't turn up) and we both boxed Dwayne Jenkinson from Lincoln ABC can you remember that mate? Great days!

Two onto one Chris, and in a boxing ring as well.  Thought you were better than that

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

I remember him alright I thought boxing was easy after stopping my first opponent, and then in my second fight my next opponent didn't turn up so they offered me jenkinson who had a fair bit of experience.

I remember Dave saying you can say no but that was never going to happen, anyway he gave me a boxing lesson for the first 2 rounds before I thought intercourse this and started hitting him back in the 3rd, when Dave and Kev said I'd finished on top and he looked pleased to hear the bell, I remember really wanting another round but good lesson learnt.

Don't think I was there but I was pleased to hear you sorted  him out sometime later, apparently he had been stopping a lot of his opponents and doing some damage he had a good bang on him.
do you hear anything more about him do you know if went on to be pro or anything?

I know his brother was a pro Tone, yeah I beat him in Lincoln he did bang hard, he caught me in the 3rd with a cracking uppercut  which made me step back a bit, I was fit as owt then though and it was the fitness what got me through, I think at that time he was stronger than me but I out worked him, he said I was the fittest bloke he'd been in with, just wish I was as fit now though

You was a good standard Tone and a good southpaw you was a great member of our team at that time mate.
