Apart from Mansfield a few years ago most of the Champions have run away with this league from the start.
We are already chasing and have not even played anyone good yet
Iam still hopeful though grimps and will reserve judgement given more games of where we really stand

I've been supporting Town for nearly 30 years. I've felt like we can do something this year more than I have in a long time.
Yes we were excrement, but it's one game. In August.
They need a rocket up the bottom and Hurst needs to increase his  options.

I suppose, on paper, Hurst has reckoned he's got enough to beat Altrincham, and its hard to disagree. Then the players went and showed him up.
Been saying for weeks and weeks that we needed another CM and another striker. We haven't signed them, and, in the first three games, we haven't really needed them evidently. Tonight, with few options for changing things, Hurst has left himself unable to react to lots of poor individual performances. We really have come unstuck.

Time to spend some of the war chest on a keeper, a replace not for Brown and a spare striker. Every team loses a game they should win now and again, move on and go again

Bet you n grim74 have got half a lob on with this defeat.just need to see Bruce Springsteen making a re appearance. Amazing how you hardly ever post after our victories

Agreed, Hurst should give himself a telling off in the dressing room. The money is there i believe so use it.

I agree think Macca needs competition, and we are short of players, why this is the case after 4 games I don't know.

The young lads, Venney and Clifton, who are supposed to be very good prospects, are in danger of rigor mortice, if they don't get a chance soon.

After they apparently played really well in pre-season, the manager appears to be frightened of bringing them on.

We've been found out, that if we don't blitz a team first half, there's not a lot left in the tank for the second half.

Would hardly say we've been found out??! We lost a game of football, yeah we shouldnt be losing to the likes of altrincham admittedly but i strongly disageee that we've been " found out"!
