Ok, a quick update. With the deadline a week tomorrow we have had an amazing SEVENTY ONE entries which is bloody fantastic.

As I said I will be adding a couple of other small prizes of £25 for this game. From the suggestions I have decided on "The team to score exactly 5 goals in week 5". If more than one team scores exactly 5 then those teams will go into the following week with the highest scoring team winning the prize, this will carry on week after week until there is only one winner" If no team scores exactly 5 in week 5 then it will carry on to the next week and so on until the prize is won.

Also, so that it's not just the good teams that win then there will be a £25 prize for the first team to sack their manager. If no team sacks there manager during the course of the game, then the £25 will be added to the prize pot for the next game.

With 71 entries now it will be a lot easier for me to list the number NOT taken for anyone else who wishes to enter.

Les I appreciated the closing date for entries when it was linked to Operation Promotion but now it is for the great cause it is ......is there a specific reason it cant be open to entries till day before season starts????

No particular reason really. I was just sticking with the original closing date really and I was then going to donate the money to Larry's fundraising page.

I can always extend the deadline if that's what people want.
