When the self proclaimed best fans in the universe were struggling at the bottom of the championship they were getting under 10,000, best fans in the universe my bottom. Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it. But to complain about comments like that when all clubs have em is short sighted. Number 2- that year there were protests against the owner and unlike modern fans they talked with their feet. They've constantly had some of the best support in the country bar for 2 or so years in the 80s and that's all people mention!
