Should Kevin Pieterson be allowed back in the England set up? Its a big Yes for me. I feel they need him on and off the pitch, love him or hate him you can not take away his cricketing ability.

The way the ECB has gone about things is embarrassingly pathetic (Conference-esque), but personally, I'm of the opinion that leaving him out is the best thing even if we miss his batting ability (which we will).

Pietersen has always been self-obsessed and has been reported as a divisive presence in the dressing room at times. I thought it was beyond the pale when he was caught sending text messages slagging off his own teammates to the South African opposition during a test back in 2012. His autobiography last year was full of petty score-settling which might have been good to whip up controversy and make some sales, but you can't go around slagging off a load of your teammates to make some money and still expect to be trusted. No surprise at all they don't want him back in.

The fact that one of Pietersen's good friends is Piers Morgan probably tells you all you need to know about him!

Just reading his book at the moment. He seems like the work colleague from hell. Questions every decision, huge unsettling influence. Completely pumped up with his own importance. So no.

We have just won the 1st test match,

So we do not need him.
