Has anyone else got "That Feeling" already.

You know the one, the mix of nervousness and excitement in the pit of your stomach. God know what I'll be like a week on Sunday.

It's just another reason why I support my hometown team though as I can't think that any plastic Premier League fan can ever have had "That Feeling"

Yea I know exactly what you mean. I know we've been to Wembley before and the new Wembley isn't 'proper wembley'. But the buzz of walking out of the tube station doors to see the massive arch really gets me every time, and the feeling increases as you walk up the way!

Seeing a sea of black and white around the ground is a great sight.

I'm excited and hope this working week doesn't drag too much!!!

A feeling of nervousness and excitement, but also a feeling of confidence! Can't believe we are only one win away from being back in the league, when I think like that it's hard to comprehend how such an important match it is.

Isn't it called the hairs on the back of your neck feeling? Coming out the tube station and seeing Wembley Way is always the greatest buzz of the day surpassed only by the moment the trophy is held aloft!

Can't wait Les.  Will be meeting at the Jubilee for the coach probably start with a coffee rather than a pint anyone else meeting in the Jube?

I am gradually getting more confident of winning. They will want to win, but when push comes to shove we may well want to win just that liittle bit more. Down to fine margins.

We are so desperate to get of NL, and also we remember those 2 bitter play-off defeats.

We are also very very good at winning away this season (and away at top teams).

Following Town has always been a roller-coaster ride and at this moment in time I feel like I am slowly going up the rails, going up to a height of Mount Everest.  I'll probably get that pit in the stomach sensation as I head down the A1

Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.

I agree - Two masively different things as far as I'm concerned - supporting Town or choosing to support Man U. Someone who says they are a Man U  fan will never know what it feels like in a game like this for us. The emotions are truly powerful - that's why I don't understand why they don't want a part of it as well. Particular moments with Town have been profound for me.

I can't wait.

You say big club fans won't get this feeling? I disagree. Grimsby are the only team for me but  I was fortunate/unfortunate enough to find myself with a ticket in the Stratford end for the Manc derby last season (city 3-0

The vibe and atmosphere around OT was something I haven't experienced at a football match for a while. Fans everywhere singing their hearts out.

It was incredible inside the stadium as well. The sheer volume of the singing made the hairs on my neck stand up!

I would much prefer an afternoon at BP anyday!

Have Man Utd been involved in a promotion playoff final....nope dont think so its completely different to a derby game full of fans that have no affiliation with the club or place.

Anyway GTFC always been the only team im interested in.

Buy your tickets now and choose the option to collect at Wembley. I wouldn't rely on the ticket office being open on the day.

excrement just got real after I booked train tickets. Bumming around the Smog on Saturday, crashing at my sister's, then to Wembley from Southwark in the morning. Got a nervous/excited jolt after I booked it.

Yeh really excited and so are a lot of others. Ive heard people of all ages and genders talking about The Mariners at Wembley, on the bus, at work, in supermarkets. Its something the whole town can get behind and there are few things that can do that! despite the fewer numbers of people probably going, there is still a buzz around the town. A Town win would really give the area a boost. UTM!!

No nerves (yet?). Feeling positive and confident. Think Hurst's experience from 2 years ago will pay off in terms of mental preparation of the team. The team froze (metaphorically, as well as literally) last time. There'll be nerves in the team but now I think they're better at overcoming them, especially if we stay solid and supportive.

It's our turn. This Town knows.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

I was really pointing the finger at all those people in Grimsby or any other town for that matter who choose to 'support' Man U or Liverpool or any other other Premier League team rather than their home town. I've have been to Old Trafford on a couple of occasions and I agree, the atmosphere is undeniable.

When I asked a relative of mine recently why he doesn't get down to BP and support Town rather than pay the huge amount he does each month to watch football on Sky, his answer is "why would I want to watch football at that level when I can see top flight on the TV?". You, I and everyone on here know how he is missing the point and also missing out on so much more.

UTM I've eyes for no other team.

No nerves yet. All I want is the fans and players to leave Wembley with the feeling that we've left nothing behind. Hope we all have a great day and get the result that we need. UTM
