We did take 30,000 in 98, I'm sure of that! For the size of the area we should be taking a 20k plus crowd imo. The negativity on here bemuses me at times! THIS IS A MASSIVE GAME!!!

No one is disputing the size of the game but I can understand why we might only take sub 20k. Tickets are vastly overpriced for what is a non league game of football. Food and drink in and around the stadium is priced at my weekly food shop plus the fuel/bus/train to get to London itself.

Grimsby is known to have a low wage so ultimately that will impact on several thousand fans who may want to go.

I am sure if everyone attended who wanted to attend  (without consequence of work/money/kids or wife) we would sell out our allocation in a flash.

Regardless of how many fans are at the ground on the day or how many are watching on the Telebox we will all want the same result and we will all sing our throats dry!

I'm jealously eyeing the higher up blocks available for Rover fans.  Having sold out of Cat 1 they have opened up Level 2 and 5 seats.  Come on Town Hurry up and sell out Level 1. I want to get an aerial view.

I'm not sticking up for those dicks at the conference at all but they did point out that a ticket in the corner in '98 was still £27. That's the equivalent of £43.92 in today's money so let's face it it's not dissimilar!

I realise that there are some people who can't afford the tickets however, would you rather not go to 2 away games next season for the price of missing out on seeing us potentially promoted at the national stadium?

Come on guys, get your bloody act together and get yourselves there!!

The latest three finals will have put a lot of the floaters and glory hunters off which is a shame because this set of lads are worth paying over the odds for. It'll be hard to convince those lost supporters that though.

I'm waiting until the 2nd tier tickets go on sale. Shouldn't be long now as only Blocks 115 and 117 are available now for the 15 tickets I need.

Rovers are now selling tickets in the 3rd tier!

Just bought 14 tickets for myself and some friends. Bloke on the line mentioned that a lot of the current Cat 1 seating is sold for us, but I assume this is just the level 1 stuff. If we sell out, I expect they will open up other Cat 1 blocks.
