My pal has just ordered our 15 tickets.

Worth noting that only 2 of us from that group are able to regularly attend matches.

Can't wait.

Just booked two seats for the girlfriend and young Thomas...  I had the Wembley seating plan
on my PC screen and foned up See Tickets or whatever they're called...

The call lasted 8 minutes , I asked for Block 111  Row 38  seats  254 and 255 , which means
they will be slap bang behind the goal directly behind the exit with a completely unrestricted
view, no-one sat immediately in front of them...  EXCELLENT  !!!!!

Just a bloody shame I can't go.......

All this talk about numbers so here is another set to think about,

Rovers averaged 847 fans at away games,

We averaged 611,

Times them numbers by 30 and you get,

Rovers taking   25,491  Town   18,033

ADD

Another 2,500 to Rovers because it is nearer for them to get there,

Plus another 2,500 because they live in a better off part of the country so have more money to spend,

AND

You finish with Rovers with taking just under 30,000 ,

Town taking 18,033

With other clubs selling 7,000 between them,

The total attendance will be about 55,000,

That beats the record for a conference play off by some margin,

As in election polls,

Please take into consideration a 3% + or - effect.

Sorry it is early in the morning ( for me )

AND

I have more important matters on my mind,

Like who do I want to vote for shortly,

I see I missed a 0 off well that's nothing,

The minors figures will still be a bit out m

BUT

You get my drift,

I am going to vote for Nigel now.

Yes this game is more important than '98. But the club had more regulars back then. We couldn't sell out the playoff semi. There will be less - the fanbase is smaller, even the once-a-year fanclub is smaller.

I hate it but the only way to change it is to go up!

Why? Surely this is as big as game as it was in 98. Back then we took something like 30k and 22k. Why can't we emulate that??

Did we take 30,000 to Wembley, I didn't think we were close to that.

What you have to remember as others have pointed out, the magic of Wembley has faded a bit considering we have been there 4 times now.

Also how many fans have we lost over the past 5 years of floundering in non league, you have to bear in mind that many who go to Wembley are family and friends of those who go regularly as well as those that turn up for the special occasions, if say a quarter of those have been lost these past 5 years then that will have an effect on the attendance.

Like I said on a previous thread if we took 15,000 that would be great, any more and that would be immense.

I think the Bournemouth game we took 28500 just behind the goal their was some empty seats cobblers game was around 20k Milton Keynes 25k and Wrexham just under 17 k. No way did we break 30 k for the first game but if anyone's memory is better than mine please correct the numbers
