Great win by Town after a nervous start, defence held steady,  and full marks to  Gowling who had his facial features re arranged a bit twice but carried on regardless,
Pearson was immense again today and does not deserve to be playing at this leval

I was a little worried by the start, they moved the ball along ok and had the possession but at around the 30 minute mark I realised that no side had registered a shot on goal. Town could only get better, and they did on 35 minutes, but honestly it looked like the Eastleigh bunch would never breach Pearson and Gowling. Each goal knocked a huge chunk of belief  out of them, Constable was rubbish. McAllister not far behind and Burton only seems to make the bench by running around being an oaf, adding zero threat to an already blunt forward line.
Reason shrank more from the game with each goal...it ended up very comfortable (Gowling may not agree!) and Eastleigh looked a long way off taking on League 2.

Only one MOM choice today. Take a bow Mr Lennell John Lewis. Perhaps the doubters can now understand why he is the first name on PH's team sheet. Awesome work rate and goals too

He was great but others were too. Pearson, Gowling and Palmer to name but three.

Agree Lennie was the MOM today. He made Palmer's first, created and delivered his own and had a big part in Ollie's second. Immense today.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

I apologise in advance for all the typos, because I am totally hammered. Best day as a Town fan for years.

I think we will beat Brizzle because we have so many potential match winners......Ollie, Arnold, Shop, and the back four are solid. Gowling was immense today, and Pearson is a rock.

With Dizza and Brown in midfield and pace out wide we are such a treat.

We are gonna do it this time......
