Our quick start shows they can't cope with a high line and directness, ironically. Then again, that shouldn't be a surprise given the amount of goals they've shipped this season. I don't think defence is something they work on all that much. I hope we don't afford them time, or opportunities to back into our defenders when the ball is in the air. We should be pushing out, pinging it over their heads and getting their defenders to turn and face their own goal, threaten them with Arnold and Mackreth's pace to get in behind. Lager Top Drinker Posts: 252 Posts Per Day: 0.04 Reputation: 76.57% Rep Score: +2 / -1 Approval: +302	Too many long balls.  Eastleigh have a very deep back line.  The odd diagonal ain't a bad idea, but we are trying it too much, giving the ball away too cheaply.  Keep the ball on the deck and we can win this 2 or 3-0.  It should be at least 2-0.  If only it would be that easy.  Eastleigh are the second highest scorers in this league, so they are going to get chances: we need to keep it tight at the back and not give them anything to get excited about.
