You're thinking of Carlsberg...

...if it was Heineken it would refresh the parts other tickets cannot reach!

Beer fail aside there could be some mileage in this for the club.

Would folk pay a fee to be guaranteed an away ticket for every game? I know season ticket holders and the trust get some priority but I am sure some would pay an additional small fee to be guaranteed a ticket for away games with none of the queuing and stub collecting etc.

£20 a season anyone?

We already pay enough, if you've a season ticket you already get priority, I'd be copulated off having to pay any more than the £320 it already costs!

Agreed. How often is it difficult to get away tickets anyway?

Cheaper to just join the Trust.

Hardly ever in recent memory other than Lincoln away. This season has the potential for Lincoln, Southport and Alfreton but yeah point taken it doesn't happen enough to be worthwhile. If we go up then it is even less likely to work as well.

Was just a thought whilst bored at work. Zzzzz

I am a member but wouldn't have been to able to get a Alfreton ticket as I live away. My idea was that for £20 you just ring the club and tell them your away season ticket reference, pay over the phone and hey presto you have a ticket.

I think the first dibs option for away tickets is one of the major selling points for season tickets, not just at Town but many other clubs across the leagues.

Add another layer on top of this and you'll, to use a Fentyism, devalue the product.

PSG, you can get priority as a trust member. As mentioned on another thread,  the club have a list of members, phone them up give your details & hey presto you've got your ticket.

As a season ticket holder i havent ever used the 'trust membership' to get a ticket BUT my understanding was that when the tickets went on sale to Trust members (after season tickets & Eastleigh stub holders) you could have telephoned, given your details and obtained your ticket

Edit; sorry just seen the posts above
