FT: Dartford 1-1 Heed.

I imagine Gateshead players will be thinking its do or die on Saturday in terms of there play-off ambitions.

Italy 1-1 England, my second team played a lot better second half.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Portugal 0 Cape Verde Islands 2 at half-time!!

Having said that, I've just seen that Cape Verde Islands are actually FIFA ranked 38 (1 place above Scotland)!!

Realistically the Heed must be done for, 5 games left 7 points behind (in reality 8 because of goal difference). 3 other teams above them. The players must know the game is up and therefore will not really want to risk suspensions/injuries in case they get released.

Whereas in the last few seasons 4th from bottom has actually stayed up so maybe Dartford will have something to play for.

Okay in reality I'm looking for every positive physically possible

Sometimes when a team is confirmed as relegated they can play with more freedom and less anxiety and end up with some good results

If Dartford finiah 4th from bottom I will expect them to be reinstated come June when someone inevitably goes bust.

Worth playing for in my opinion...

But if the Heed still think they have an outside chance of a play-off place then they may play an open game instead of " parking the bus ". This could work to our advantage as we always seem to play better against teams that want to play football  instead of just defending.
