Rotherham 1 - 4 Town in early 90s. Big town following for a night match. Mendonca scored for them. Top atmosphere.

Histon was strangely flat (atmosphere, not the terrain!) for me, despite us winning 6-1 or whatever.  Remember a good night at Cambridge in Scott n Hurst's first or second season when we played brilliantly and we sang through most of the game.

Barnet this season has got to be the best down here that I've been to. Worst was Wembley.

Bloody old age, they say your recent memory goes first,

I was at Barnet, that should have been my No 1,

Now then what was I doing a minute ago.

Derby away on Boxing Day was one that I remember but doesnt seem to have been mentioned, especially with Town fans on a high after beating Sheff Wed in the game before.

Not realising that Oster had scored in the 2nd(?) minute and only cheering when all the players ran to the corner celebrating. Wes Parker marking Kinkladze in the middle.

Seeing Digger Soames seal it in the last minute by holding off 2 men and Coldicott sat in front of me cheering as madly as any town regular.

Beat me to it!! I was going to mention Derby away as one of my all time favs in my 20 years of following Town. Liverpool away and THAT goal has to be the best

That was one of the most complete away performances I have ever seen from Town. The highlights didn't do our football justice.

At the end of the game loads of Blades fans stayed behind to applaud us off the pitch.

I think my first away game was when we drew 1-1 at Bury with a Clive Wiggington goal which clinched promotion in 1972. Great start!
