Making the change clearły backfired. Not only that Parslow does not even strengthen the defence. If you want to add some steel and graft then he should have used Scott Brown. Parslow could not mark an exam paper. Annoyed!!

I was surprised when we kept parslow, if he's supposed to come on as a defensive midfielder he's not doing it, how many touches, passes and tackles does he get when he gets subbed on? How much distance does he cover? I Don't think those stats would be high numbers, and what qualities does hurst think he brings to that role that makes him so necessary as a utility player, doesn't seem particularly fast, can't remember being impressed by any long passing that he does, doesn't really have a lot of success closing down or starting attacks.

He'd probably be a solid centre back or full back for someone, not the most exciting fullback, but he's not a defensive midfielder or a utility player, you don't stay at one club for 230 league games by doing what he's been doing since he came to town, and I don't think he's to blame for that

He's not even taking blame now!!! AAAAAAAAAAARGH its infuriating

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

I once said Gazza's IQ was less than his shirt number and he asked me: What's an IQ? - George Best

Tondeurs ground him down, he said he'd make the sub again, and then threw the Ollie Palmer wasn't fit card out there as predicted

Hurst would make same substitution again, even though Woking scored last week and Chester scored twice after the exact same decision.

I've got nothing against making defensive changes to close out a game in principle but, as others have noted, bringing Parslow on just doesn't work out as he's not much cop as a defensive midfielder.

A real waste today as most of the other results were pretty decent for us. Lots of twists and turns to come yet, I expect, so perhaps Hurst will now realise we don't have the wherewithal to close out games just by sticking Parslow on the pitch.

Stick Scott brown on, and give Disley free reign to run into the box when we're on the attack, that's how we should go 4-5-1 if we need to

The sight of Mr Danny Parslow warming up fills me with dread. Maybe I am missing something but I fail to see what he brings to the team.

You can not make a substitution like that with 15 -20 mins to go,

You are just inviting the home team to come at you,

It does not work Hurst

If you did that with 5 mins left that would be ok, we should be able to cope for that length  of time,

Hurst reminds me of Groves when he was manager,

We were 2-0 up at Nottingham Forest 20mins to go he goes all defensive,

We drew 2-2,

The next game we are 2-0 up at Ipswich 20 mins to go he does the same,

We drew 2-2,

Grow a set Hurst and trust the players that got you 2-0 up,

If a striker needs to come off, put another striker on,

Failing that bolster the midfield with Brown, Parslow is not the man to bring on.
