Very even their stats , only drawn 4 . Like most teams in this division , on their day they can be world beaters .  Going to be a tensioned filled run in . Not that a draw is a bad result but we must just concentrate on our own game and results . Home form will be paramount.

4-1 town to really put sh1ts into other title contenders
Think we will take nearly a thousand as a number of exiles in North West and a real buzz about Town again.

Earlier in the season

The FA Cup defeat to Oxford was in there though but yes, we did indeed win 5 league games on the bounce earlier this season. Away at Wrexham and Torquay home to Dartford, away to Braintree and home to Halifax. The 1-1 home draw away to Altrincham ended the run.

A draw wouldn't be that much better a result than a loss (about 1 point, I believe) so I hope to see us go for it if we're drawing with 10 to go.

Chester 1-2 GTFC

Palmer 23
Disley 90+2

Er, Ian Rush? (I've no idea who plays for Chester) 40

If we win this one it will be 11 wins and we will still have another 4 away games to play,

Does anybody know when was our best season for away wins ?

In 1933/34 season when we won the old div 2 we had 12 wins,

I think that was our best season,

So we have a chance of beating that this season,

Come on you mariner's we can do it !!!!
