Almost worth buying vouchers just in case, then sell them on to fans at the clubs in the final if we don't make it. My thoughts are a lot of fans will buy vouchers from the teams in the top ten then will forget it if they don't get there. Leaving a fair bit of Wembley emptier than it should be. Just sell tickets at a reasonable price for the final

Christ, marketing really is full of utter male masturbators. That being said, I think i'd probably take a punt on a £10 playoff final ticket considering our position in the league.

I'd rather wait and pay the extra £20 if we get to the final. If we didn't then it's £10 wasted because I don't want to go all the way to London to watch 2 teams i don't care about. I like the idea of them trying somrthing different. But why not just drop prices anyway and i'm 99% sure they'd almost fill Wembley if it was £10/15 for an adult ticket and £5 for kids. This obviously providing it's 2 half decent supported clubs in the final (bristol v grimsby for example)

Yeah, that's what I want at a playoff final - a "carnival atmosphere" created by southern day trippers with their kids, who have never heard of us, telling me to sit down because Tarquin can't see.

Seriously, what kind of flipping div comes up with stuff like this?

I like the way they've jazzed it up by putting it in italics. I'm sold.

If Vanarama want to splurge money on bringing more atmosphere to the Play Off Final they should just bung the FA some money and not hold the final at Wembley.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

live not far from Wembley so will get a couple of these and go even if were not in it. probably a few london based clubs fans will do the same or buy a few and sell them for a profit to the teams who do make it

I think they're looking to Rugby League, which would struggle to sell out Wembley (unless for two of the bigger clubs) if it weren't promoted as "The Sport's Day Out" and pitched at people from all over the Rugby League-watching public.  I think Vanarama are trying to get something similar going and trying to generate interest.  If it works and adds even a few thousand onto the gate, that has to be better for the league and the clubs, so I don't really object.

Seriously considering taking a punt on this, but does anyone know what the prices were for last year's play-off final? (sorry, I won't call it promotion final). Do the prices differ depending on which tier you are in? I imagine these vouchers will only be redeemable for the 'cheap seats'?

Last year's pricing:

TICKETS:

The Football Conference has appointed an Official Ticket Agency for the sale and distribution of the tickets.

PRICING:

Level 1 - Adults £36, Under 16's £18.

Level 2 (Club Wembley) - Adults £41, no concessions.

There will be a booking fee of £3 per ticket for tickets priced at £36 and £41.  A booking fee of £1.50 per ticket will be applied for tickets priced at £18.

There are three postage options available, 1st Class at £2.35, Special Delivery at £6.25 or collection from Wembley at £1.95.

Please note, these prices and charges have been set by the Football Conference.

I went to AFC Wimbledon v Luton as a neutral  as I got a free ticket. It was pretty drab but the importance of the outcome made it a decent game for a neutral.

Robbing barstewards, they should be no more than 50p first class for some tickets.

Robbing Barstewards indeed, since when has collection from Wembley been a "postage" option
